Facts & Questions

  • I am available from Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am – 4:30pm AWST.

    If you need to get in contact with me outside of these hours, please understand that I may be slower to respond.

    I understand that things do come up outside of regular business hours, so don’t hesitate to reach out if the matter is urgent.

  • Every package includes a 1:1 consultation which is held online or in-person if available.

    Once your project has commenced, communication will be done via email as it helps to keep track of specific design requirements.

  • The cost of a website can vary greatly depending on factors like complexity, features and design.

    I have three packages that range from $2000 to $5000.

    I also offer custom websites in which the price is quoted to you after we have our consultation.

  • I currently accept payment via direct bank transfer only. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars unless otherwise specified.

    For all my packages, payments are broken down into instalments based on the project timeline:

    Payment #1: Deposit = 25% of total cost

    Payment #2: Development = 25% of total cost

    Payment #3: Handover = 50% of total cost

    For my Website In A Day package:

    Payment #1: Deposit = 50% of total cost

    Payment #2: Handover = 50% of total cost

    Please note: The deposit is non-refundable and is required for every design project to lock-in a project start date. Your project will not commence until the deposit has been received.

  • I have no ongoing fees. Once your website has been handed over, our time has come to an end.

    All payment relevant to other services are direct between the client and the provider. I take no service fee from this payment, and don’t manage payments for the provider.

    The only ongoing costs of maintaining your website will include:

    – Domain annual fee

    – Provider annual fee (squarespace, showit, shopify)

    – Any additional add ons you have requested for your website that occur a fee

    Please note: You will never have fees that you are not aware of. I will make it clear at the beginning of our contract what your ongoing costs will be so that you have a clear idea.

  • The timeline for website development depends on which package you select. It ranges from one day, and up to four weeks.

    This is an estimate depending on the complexity of your website needs.

    Prior to start date:
    Arrange our 1:1 consultation meeting. You will be provided with a creative questionnaire that will help me establish the needs for your website. During the consultation, we will discuss your requirements and select the appropriate packages for you, if you’re happy to proceed, you will receive all necessary documents and information on how to pay the deposit.

    Week 1: Planning & Design:
    Deposit (payment #1) needs to be paid in order to commence the project.

    This week we establish core business values and goals for the website. I establish the creative direction of the website and you are required to provide all content that will be used for the website by the end of this week.

    Week 2: Concept & Feedback:
    I handcraft ONE concept that embodies the highest quality of design. Here you have the opportunity to provide feedback. Once I have received your feedback, I create a site map and outline users flow and goal for each page.

    Week 3: Development:
    Payment #2 is due before the development commences.

    It’s time for you to sit back and watch the magic begin. Here I apply the functions to your website and implement the content you provided. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback on what looks great and what needs a bit of adjusting.

    Week 4: Launch & Handover:
    Payment #3 is due before website ownership is changed.

    Once I receive your final feedback and implement any required changes, the website is ready to go live! We have a 1:1 meeting where I run you through the websites functions and how to update the content.

    After Handover:

    I am available for technical support up to TWO weeks after launch.

  • I do not provide content for your website in any of my packages. It is the clients responsibility to provide the content, which includes text, images, videos, and any specific branding materials.

    Some generic images may be used however this will be by choice of myself, if no other content is provided.

  • If you are late in supplying content for the development of your website by more than 14 days from the agreed upon project start date there will be a penalty fee of $200 (+gst). This fee is not deducted from the total project cost and is a stand-alone penalty that will be invoiced separately for every time a project is put on hold due to missing content.

    Work will only resume on the project once the penalty fee is paid in full and you have supplied all content required for the project.

    Projects will be delayed due to late submissions of content and I can’t guarantee that your project will meet previously set deadlines. Work on your project will take place around other scheduled client projects and deadlines.

  • After completion of your website, I hand full ownership over to you. Your website will be created through an easy to use platform which enables you to update your website. I will provide you with training on how to do this during our handover meeting.

  • Due to the nature of the design industry, I often share my processes and deliverables on social media throughout the duration of the project. If you are uncomfortable with this, please let me know at the start of our project as I want to respect the boundaries of my clients.
